I still remember exactly what it was like when I started at GLOBAL SIDE. The industry was already at a point where everyone knew that something had to change - but no one really had a solution. A lot of people were talking about innovation, but in reality we kept getting bogged down by the same, largely outdated IT systems.
I had been working in healthcare IT for some time and at some point I realized that we weren't getting anywhere the way things were going. The processes were simply outdated, the structures far too rigid, and digital collaboration? There was hardly any. Instead of tackling the causes, we mostly just dealt with the symptoms. I really had the feeling that nothing would fundamentally change.
Then I came to GLOBAL SIDE - and immediately learned to really appreciate the energy here. Everyone here had the drive to make a lasting difference. It wasn't just about improving existing systems a little, but about thinking in a completely new way and really making things better. We didn't want small, quick solutions that only scratch the surface, but to create sustainable change - with standards and seamless IT solutions that really make a difference. It felt like taking off. From day 1, I felt like I was part of a mission. At GLOBAL SIDE, you are given the space to contribute your ideas - and the opportunity to implement them.
What makes GLOBAL SIDE special for me is the culture. I am a real co-creator here. There are no rigid hierarchies or eternal decision-making processes. Instead, we work together as teams, exchange ideas and grow together. You can take on responsibility and see directly what impact your contribution has. And quite honestly - I learn something new here almost every day.
Now, after all these years at GLOBAL SIDE, I'm really proud of what we've already achieved. But the best thing is: we're still a long way from reaching our goal! We still have so much to do and I'm delighted to be a part of it.
